The K-001, vehicle tracking system has been designed to meet the need for tracking moving targets in varied and difficult terrain including dense city zones.
THE TRANSMITTER
Transmitter is a powerful 1-Watt,magnetically-mounted device with internal batteries.
Compact and can be positioned in seconds on the target vehicle.
Bearing is shown on an 81-LED polar display panel with an accuracy of 6 degrees.
Distance between the target and the receiver is indicated by a 10-LED signal strength meter (10dB/LED)
10 synthesised channels of operation can be selected by thumb-wheel switch.
Sensitivity is better than - 149dBm.
Audio detection is via the internal speaker.
Dynamic range is greater than 100dB.
The synthesised receiver circuitry uses surface mount micro-miniature components.
Display brightness is controllable -essential for discreet night tracking
Fine tune is adjustable -
powered by the nominal vehicle supply of 12V via the car cigarette lighter socket

The receiver is compact and can be conveniently held on a navigator's lap, on the dashboard or even in the glove compartment.
THE RECEIVER/DISPLAY UNIT
The tracking receiver will fit comfortably and discreetly on a dashboard, passenger seat or in a glove compartment.
A flashing light on the circular display of LEDs indicates the course of the target vehicle and a linear display shows its approximate distance.
The system has been engineered to track accurately by determining the direction of the target and indicating the level of confidence of that bearing.
THE ANTENNA SWITCHING UNIT
Connected to the receiver is the antenna-switching unit. To this are connected the antennae of the system.
THE ANTENNAE
Three antennae are required.
The standard types are quarter-wave whip antennae with magnetic mounts, mounted separately.
Alternatively, the antennae can be supplied for covert installation.
